About Us
Welcome to the oldest legal distillery in the city of Charlottesville, Virginia. We are Sarah and Ivar.
We make Single Malt Whiskey, Old Tom Gin, Brandy and a host of other curious spirits in our 300 liter Portuguese pot still. Everything is distilled on site by distiller and owner Ivar Aass. We do not, nor have we ever source spirits--much like many other distilleries.
All our products are made with care, integrity, and are creatively crafted. We are a true and local craft distillery.

We offer tastings of our spirits, bottles for purchase, and complimentary tours (as long we’re not too busy).
